  10. I always read stories about people waterproofing their house. And how effective that it is to get it done. It also seems to be more on the expensive side as well. However since I live in an apartment complex. I don't think that I have to worry about that anytime soon.

  13. We are about to get hit with some big summer rain storms. In preparing for it, I have done a lot of waterproofing around the basement. One year, we had a storm that poured and our basement took a hit.

  15. It rains almost every day here in Oregon, and without having our basement waterproofed we have some serious problems. A couple of years ago there was quite a bit of flooding down there that caused a lot of damage. I've never understood how water proofing works, but it is so important. http://www.kopperswaterproofingmd.com

  16. I am tired of my basement being a mold and moisture haven throughout the winter. I need to study up on how to weatherize and waterproof my basement. I am not even sure what the process entails. Will I need to move my things out of the basement in preparation?

  17. My basement has a distinct wet cement smell to it. It's a finished basement and it still has that smell. I hope the foundation isn't so wet that it's crumbling or something. We probably need to have it waterproofed again.

  18. We had some good friends who's basement flooded last week and it's ruined a good portion of their house. My parents don't want that happening to our home so they are looking to do some basement waterproofing. I've been helping them look around for services and I think this would help them in their search.

  22. My basement was leaking because of cracks on the wall. I was upset because I had those fixed before. Then I called a concrete waterproofing guy to check my basement. He addressed several issues with the plumbing and sealing of the wall. I had those issues fixed right away and I didn’t have any problems after that.

  23. It's so cool to see that we have technology to do cool things like waterproofing. Some friends of mine waterproofed their basement right before they moved in and a huge storm hit shortly after. A lot of peoples home's flooded, but my friends stayed completely dry. It's something that I'm going to look into doing with my home.
